FERRITER DAYS ( Laethe Ceiliúradh Dúchas Na bhFeirtéaraigh) is a time for celebration of the role that Piaras Ferriter and other Ferriters have played in the western part of Kerry and other parts of the world. It is also a time when those who are connected to the Ferriter family --either by ancestry, affection, academics, or accident --come together in the Ballyferriter area to meet one another and enjoy the craic! Schedule: June 19 (Fri night) 7 pm --Art Gala celebrating the Art of Morgan Ferriter at Tig Aine's Cafe. Sat and Sun will be for lectures, poetry, and fun meetings all mixed in with some time for food and outdoor activities. Plan on trips to the Great Blasket and historical walks. Sat and Sun nights are for music and craic! Some are going for a round of golf on Monday. All who play win a prize! Then, Monday evening, we will hold a parting event. Come and join us!
